Overview

The purpose of this article is to teach new users how to use the Atheer Lens app AiRSessions feature on a RealWear HTM-1 hands-free device.

This article highlights the major features and functions of Atheer AiRSesisons on RealWear hands-free devices and will demonstrate how to start, join, and schedule AiRSessions.

AiRSession Basics

Let’s start from the Atheer Lens home screen. Notice on the home screen that you already have quick access links to New AiRSession and Join AiRSession. Before we use those quick access links, let’s go to the AiRSessions screen.

Say, “AiRSessions”.

You are now on the AiRSessions screen. If you had upcoming AiRSessions that you were scheduled to attend, you would see them in a list here and could access them when it’s time to do so. Also, if any of the Upcoming AiRSessions were currently in progress, you would see an “Active” indicator.

Say, “Let’s begin”.

Notice that you now have three options. You can create a new AiRSession, Schedule an AiRSession, or Join an AiRSession.

Say, “New AiRSession.”

All you need to do from here is accept the default information and say, “Start” to launch the AiRSession.

Say, “Close” to close this window.

Now, let’s see what scheduling an AiRSession looks like. Say, “Let’s begin”, “Schedule AiRSession”.

On this screen, you can fill in the information needed to schedule an AiRSession. Once the information is complete, you can say, “Schedule”. But for now, let’s navigate back. Say “Navigate Back”.

To join an active AiRSession, say, “Let’s begin”, “Join AiRSession”.

From this screen, you can join an in-progress AiRSession. Simply say, “AiRSession Number” to enter the AiRSession number that the host of the AiRSession gives you, say, “Navigate back”, and then say, “Join”. For now, say, “Close” to close this window.

Note that up in the top, right corner there is a “New” button. If you say, “New”, from this screen, you will be taken to that same “New AiRSession” screen that we saw earlier.

Wrapping up, let’s get back to the home screen by saying, “Home”. Notice again here from the Home screen we have the New AiRSession and Join AiRSession quick access links. These links will take you to those same screens we showed earlier, and now you know how to use them.

So that’s it. Now you know how to start, join, and schedule AiRSessions from your RealWear HMT-1 device.
