Attending an AiRSession as a Guest from a Browser

Guest Users can now Attend Atheer AiRSessions from a Web browser

There are many instances where you may want to bring someone from outside your organization (e.g.: a third party expert, supplier, or customer) into an Atheer AiRSession. The Borealis release of Atheer allows guests to join a session using standard PC-based Web browsers (eliminating the need to download any dedicated software or use mobile devices).

We want to make it as convenient and flexible as possible for Guests to join in. Guest users who are invited to Atheer AiRSessions can now choose to join using PC-based Web browsers, or they can still choose to download and use the Atheer Lens app on a mobile device.

Accept Invitation from an Email on Your Desktop Computer

Your email application will present you with an invitation to an AiRSession. Even though you do not have an account on the Atheer platform, you can still follow the steps below and join the AiRSession as a guest.

1. From the email invitation, click on the Join AiRSession button
   
   
   
   Atheer Studio is launched in your default desktop browser with the AiRSession number per-populated.
   
   
2. Click on the First Name and Last Name fields and type in your real first and last names. Then, click on the Join button.
   
   
3. Click the Allow button at the request for access to your microphone and camera.
4. You will be added to the AiRSession.

Joining an AiRSession as a Guest by Logging in from a Desktop Browser

You may encounter a situation where you are asked to join an Atheer AiRSession by directly accessing it from your desktop browser. In order to do this, you will need the host of the AiRSession to provide you with two pieces of information:

1. The Workspace name/URL
2. The AiRSession Number

Once you have that information, follow the steps below and join the AiRSession as a guest.

1. Type in the workspace URL into your desktop browser navigation bar, and load the page.
2. From the Sign-in page, click on the JOIN AN AIRSESSION AS A GUEST link.
   
   
3. Enter the AiRSession number (provided by the AiRSession host), your real first name, and your real last name.
   
   
4. Click on the JOIN AIRSESSION button.
5. Click the Allow button at the request for access to your microphone and camera.
   
   
6. You will be added to the AiRSession.
