Camera Settings on Atheer Lens for Mobile Devices

Adjusting the camera settings

Follow the steps below to adjust the camera settings on an Atheer Lens on a mobile device:

  1. Sign into the Atheer Lens app on your mobile  device.



  2. On the Home page, tap on the Profile button at the top right corner of the screen.

  3. On the My Profile page, tap on the Settings button at the top right corner of the screen.

  4. On the Settings page, tap the Camera Settings menu.

  5. In the Camera Settings page, under the AiRSessions section, adjust the settings as necessary.

    NOTE: These AiRSession settings apply when the camera video feed is being broadcasted during AiRSessions.



    Automatic
    Allows the app to automatically adjust video resolution and frame rate based on the detected network performance

    Video Resolution
    Manual override to the user-selected video resolution while broadcasting video feed during AiRSessions when Automatic is set to off

    Frame Rate
    Manual override to the user-selected frame rate while broadcasting video feed during AiRSessions when Automatic is set to off

    Low Bandwidth Mode
    Forces AiRSession camera settings to behave as if there is a low bandwidth/slow network connection

    Front Camera
    Enable/disable use of the device’s front (user-facing) camera

  1. In the Camera Settings page, under the Picture section, adjust the settings as necessary.

    NOTE: These Picture settings apply when a participant in an AiRSession starts an “Image Mode” Annotation session from the video feed from this device.



    Automatic
    Allows the app to automatically adjust video resolution based on the detected network performance

    Video Resolution
    Manual override to the user-selected picture resolution when a participant in an AiRSession starts an “Image Mode” Annotation session from the video feed from this device when Automatic is set to off

  1. In the Camera Settings page, under the Video section, adjust the settings as necessary.

    NOTE: These AiRSession settings apply when a participant in an AiRSession starts an “Image Mode” Annotation session from the video feed from this device.



    Automatic
    Allows the app to automatically adjust video resolution and frame rate based on the detected network performance

    Resolution
    Manual override to the user-selected video resolution for the video feed for the app Lens function when Automatic is set to off

    Frame Rate
    Manual override to the user-selected frame rate of the video feed for the app Lens function when Automatic is set to off

    Low Bandwidth Mode
    Forces Lens video settings to behave as if there is a low bandwidth/slow network connection

    Front Camera
    Enable/disable use of the device’s front (user-facing) camera
