What’s New in the
Octa Release of Atheer
The Atheer Unified Platform Octa Release is now available.
STUDIO HOME PAGE CONFIGURATION
Similar to the Lens home page, the Studio home page can also be configured with custom tiles. Studio can be configured to have a completely different set of tiles from Lens. Once the feature flag - Enable configurable Home Screen is set to true, the Studio home screen config can be set up. By default we have an out-of-the-box config as below
In addition to tiles, a number of other attributes such as background image, icons, colors can also be set.

Additionally, the “Web” homepage tiles will also support dashboards. So a Dashboard tile can be directly added to the homepage. Or a group of dashboards can be added in a Group tile.
PUBLIC ACCESS
We can now set up the workspace homepage to give access to certain specific Topics or Content or Homepage to users who have not signed in, or Public access.
Once public access is enabled on the workspace, an out of the box audience called “Public” will be available in the workspace. (similar to the OOB “Everyone”). Public audience can be assigned to a Content or Topic or AiRForm or Home page tiles.
Recommended Best Practice is to use in tandem with the Configurable Home Screen
Set audience as “Public” for all the tiles which should be publicly accessible
Additionally, for Topics/Content which are visible to “Public” - the QR code can be scanned from the phone camera to access and view.

USER SELF SIGN UP
User sign up can be enabled on the workspace to allow users to sign up directly without User admin intervention.
The feature flag “Allow users to sign-up” must be enabled.
User sign-up settings
- Email domain restrictions can be added
- Custom Security Role for the signed up users can be set up
- User fields to be captured during sign up including the order
- Email notifications can be customized
AIRFORM LABEL MANAGEMENT
AiRForm label management can be used to bulk replace all AiRForm labels such as -
Header labels
Response labels
Section names
Branch path names
Alert messages
AiRForm author specified multiple choice choices
Description rich text - with HTML tags
This will give support for quick translation of existing AiRForms into different languages.
TOPICS AND CONTENT ON STUDIO
In addition to admin and setup, Topics and Content can now also be viewed on the Studio similar to the functionality on Lens.
Topic and Content can be accessed directly by scanning the QR code from the camera.
Topics and / or Content can be set up as tiles on the custom home page, or by using the special tile topic_search.
TICKET IMPROVEMENTS
Ticket boards now support quick filters - similar to Job Boards.
Filters on ticket fields that hold User data like Owner, creator, custom fields, the list of users in the filter can now be defined using keywords
- %USER_TEAM_MEMBERS% - Only users who are part of the team(s) the current user is member of
- %ALL_USERS% - All users in the workspace
Ticket field values can be set using “set value” property. This will also support setting the value of a field using a user profile lookup. Set value support can also be used to set default values for ticket fields
AiRInsights IMPROVEMENTS
AiRInsights data models for - Topic, Content, AiRSession and User have been significantly expanded to include many more core fields and some derived fields.
This greatly enhances the scope and depth of dashboards that can be defined.
